XXX

Those of you who know me may be surprised at this unexpected title...but please bear with me.

As we know, XXX usually refers to 'adult' stuff but, in my bid to help create a kinder and gentler world I have a different suggestion.

One of the most common usages for xxx is to convey kisses at the end of notes, emails, or letters. So I suggest the first X to be read as 'kiss.' Furthermore, historically the letter X was used as a way for illiterate people to sign their names. So I suggest the second X to be read as 'me.' Moreover, I'm sure we've all heard the expression 'X marks the spot' where X denotes 'here.'

And if we put all three together in sequence we get the phrase 'Kiss me here.'

Now isn't that better than its current meaning?

Love this Rhia!!

Cute! Everyone loves kisses, even my reluctant teenagers! :)

It will certainly throw the teenagers off-guard! Nice post, Rhia:)

I'm not sure my reluctant teenager enjoys them but he puts up with them. Thanks for the comment Monica.
